Kashmiri Dum Aalu – Dum aalu is very famous Indian recipe, it is basically derived from Indian state of Kashmir and Aalu we all know that it is the king of all vegetables so, it is the combination of paneer so called cottage cheese, tomatoes, potatoes, cream and Indian spices and you can serve this recipe with butter nans or chapatis. This recipe is 100% veg recipe.

- Paneer 150 grams grated
- Tomatoes 4 medium size chopped
- Potatoes 4 medium size
- Cream 2 tablespoon
- Coriander powder 1½ teaspoons
- Red chili powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
- Dalchini(Cinnamon) 1 small piece
- Tej patta (bay leaf) 2
- Gram masala (homemade) 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves
- Cooking oil 2-3 tablespoons
Step 1st Peel potatoes, clean it and deep fry it, then dig hole inside it with the help of fork to fill mixture and keep aside.
Step 2nd Mash all residual part of potatoes after dig hole, then add paneer, salt and half spices and filled the potatoes from step 1st with this mixture.
Step 3rd Heat 2 tablespoon oil in pan and add tomatoes, cook 10 to 12 min then add some water and all spices, salt and leave it for 5 min more and remove it and grind it to make puree.
Step 4th Again heat some oil in pan and add cumin seeds, Dalchini, Tej patta mix whole puree and cook for 2 to 3 minutes then add cream and leave for 1 min on low flame.
Step 5th Now you will add filled potatoes from step 2nd and some grated paneer, cook for 2 min more.
Now our Kashmiri Dum Aalu is ready to serves with butter nans or chapattis.
